- Interact Kiosk is now integrated with Appetize Visitors Service, a new service that will be shared between Interact Kiosk and Interact Web allowing users to access their account in both places.
- The login screen can be turned on for kiosk by setting "isPhoneLoginEnabled" to "true" via the JSON.
- Users that login to the kiosk via Visitors Service will have access to the new Favorites feature. This enables guests to save and view their favorite items for faster ordering.
- Users that login to the kiosk via Visitors Service will have access to the new Previous Orders feature. Guests can view items they have previously ordered and quickly reorder the individual items, or the whole order.

Payments Update
- Direct integration to FreedomPay devices is no longer supported as of Interact Kiosk 2.0.0. This change is in favor of integration with the FreedomPay AFCC library, which enables all FreedomPay supported payment devices to be used with Interact.
New Features:
- Item Attributes are now supported on Interact. Attribute labels will display on items and will be filterable when a customer is on the item grid.
- Featured Items are now supported on Interact. Items set to be Featured will display at the top of their categories and take up the space of two items.
- The Featured flag is on the Details tab when editing Items in Connect.
- Hours of Operations set in Connect are now respected by kiosks.
Enhancements:
- UI enhancements have been made to the tender selection screen. Changes include:
- Removing the standard tender key icon from tenders
- Removing tender options that are only available online when the kiosk is in offline mode
- Local KDS will work while the kiosk is offline as long as the Kiosk and KDS can both still reach the network. If the network is not reachable, the customer will be notified at the kiosk.
- If Check Numbers are turned on, the Check Number will be displayed on the Order Confirmation Screen instead of the Order Number.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved issue where Interact was not sending the Device Name to display on the Order Details page in Connect.

Interact Kiosk 1.5.1
New Features
- Added Custom Tender support. This change allows customers to submit orders to the kitchen without payment.
- Added tracking for user actions. Now when users perform the following actions, the actions are logged:
- start a transaction
- begin the checkout process
- select a tender
- process a tender
- cancel an order
These actions will display in a report that will be available in the future Connect release.
Enhancements
- Added the ability to configure the loyalty / stored value prompt in the JSON theme settings. This setting is on by default.
- Categories no longer display if there are no items currently available for that category, including if the item is not available for the current Day Part.
- Improved the UI of the Category Selection screen, the Item Grid, and the Item Details screens.
- Updated the customer flows. Now guests are taken directly to the list of menu items if there are no assigned categories.

Interact Kiosk 1.5.0
Enhancements
This release includes the following feature and usability enhancements.
- Changed the screen that displays when users log into Interact. Now users are taken to the attract screen rather than directly to the order screen.
- Updated the initial Phone Login screen, so customers receive text notifications about their order. If customers sign-in as a guest, they have the option to enter a phone number (or enter a new phone number if they previously logged in with another number) after they complete their purchase.
Users are now able to customize the text that displays when Interact prompts customers to enter their names. The Name field text can be replaced with other relevant text (e.g., Table Tent or Pager).
To configure this option in Connect:

- Removed the ‘Add Loyalty’ button for credit card payments. If the business has configured a stored value or loyalty program in Connect, users are prompted to apply the loyalty option before the payment option is selected.
- Improved the imagery and directional text displayed for the SKIDATA payment option.
- Improved the imagery and text displayed for the credit and debit card payment options.
- Added support for item-level SKIDATA Member Benefits. Users can apply the benefits in a single scan/swipe along with available SKIDATA Loaded Value amounts. This release does not include order-level discounts.
- Removed the ‘Back’ button from the Signature screen. If customers wish to cancel their payment, they must cancel the order.
- Improved printed receipts. Added a space between the order prefix and check number, so it’s easier to read. Updated the prefix field to allow for 10 characters (previously allowed 3 characters).

Fixes and Enhancements
- Enhanced error handling for menu options. If a customer attempts to add an item to the cart without selecting the required modifiers (e.g., type of bread or side item), the incomplete fields are highlighted.
- Improved the loading of customer-added media. Now media loads faster and is cached, so screens load with the correct imagery even if the system is temporarily offline.
- Improved functionality for multi-vendor logins. The login button, on the bottom-right of the Main screen, now requires a long press to launch. A manager PIN is no longer required.
- Improved functionality for credit card transactions. The kiosk does not display the ‘Swipe/Insert your card’ Payment screen until the Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal is ready for the user to insert or swipe their card. This enhancement helps to avoid confusion and premature card insertions.
- Fixed some outstanding issues associated with the Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal.

- Updated Ordering functionality. Now users will be unable to place new orders after the Vendor has closed. If the Vendor is set to Closed status, the following message will display on the Home screen, ‘Kiosk Not in Service.’
Notes:
- The vendor open/close status is determined by the Vendor Role configuration in Connect.
- Open and closed periods will be cached in the event of an offline scenario.
- The Admin Login in Connect can be used when the kiosk is not in service.
- Orders that are open or in progress when the kiosk switches to Closed status can be completed.
- Improved Payment screen workflow. Now it’s easier to support partial payments and multiple forms of payment.
- Fixed an issue where the Age Verification message did not display if alcoholic items were scanned (versus clicked on the Menu screen) and added to the cart.

Interact Kiosk 1.3.3
New Features
- Added multiple/partial payment support. Users can now apply partial payments via SKIDATA or Givex Loaded Value cards and complete payments with another card when the loaded value is inadequate to cover the checkout balance.
- Added an Accessibility Mode option, to comply with ADA height requirements. Now there is an Accessibility Mode button (handicap/wheelchair symbol) on the Home screen when in Portrait Mode. This option scales the UI height down to seventy-three percent.
Added the ability to assign multiple Upsell Items. Now Administrators can define up to four Upsell Items for each menu item.
