Customers can choose not to receive a receipt or have it printed, emailed, or sent via text/SMS.
To enable the email or text receipt options, please update the Permissions Sets associated with the account.
- Main View > Email Receipt
- Main View > Phone Number
Click on the Thanks screen to exit if no receipt is needed.
If you select the Print Receipt option and a printer is connected to the terminal, a receipt will print.
- Itemized: Select for an itemized receipt.
- Summary: Select for a check with the guest totals, option to add a tip and signature line.
After processing the transaction, select Email Receipt and then enter the customer's email address. The receipt should appear in their inbox within a few minutes.
The customer can also choose to get a copy of the receipt via text. A text message with a link to the PDF version of the receipt will be sent after entering their mobile number. The format of the receipt will be the same as the email.
